This Religious Iconography Exhibit is centered on the artistic expression of religious themes. This collection, in major part, is the private property of BHA employee, Eugene Fernandez. Items within this collection were gathered over a twenty-year period range from Mexican retablos (on both copper and canvass) from the mid-seventeen hundreds, to the mid-20th century, with a heavy concentration of early nineteen hundreds production. The medium spans works of carved wood, bronze, brass, canvass, lithography, and sterling silver.
