Photograph Collection

The Museum’s photographic collection features one of the largest photo archives in South Texas. Today, a part of the collection is currently being registered into the archive. The main part of the collection is being assembled according to location, address, individuals, objects, and events. The oldest part of the photo collection comprises early 20th century Robert Runyon’s Postcards of the Lower Rio Grande Valley and Brownsville. In addition to the photographic collection, a large amount of photographic materials can also be found.
